Christchurch Mansion Reopening on Thursdays

The Friends of the Ipswich Museums are delighted that thanks to some central government funding and £20,000 from us, the Mansion will be open again on Thursdays year round from half term week (October 29th).

We have made this financial commitment as we believe in the importance of access to the town’s collections for all, especially with the very special John Constable anniversary exhibitions scheduled for next year.

As part of our agreement, members are entitled to free entry to ALL special exhibitions at the Mansion (don’t forget that the main House itself is always free to visit), so if you are not already a member, now is a perfect time to join us.
