We are delighted to have welcomed over 100 new members so far this year. This is super, and testament to the huge popularity of our Constable exhibitions.

But we are so much more than that, and with the Museum due to open next spring there is a great deal to look forward to. So those new to the Friends and also members of longer standing may enjoy visiting the Mansion after dark and discovering some of the many delights of this wonderful building that are sometimes overlooked by visitors. Included in the tours is privileged behind-the-scenes access to the attics which are usually closed to the public.

We will be running three tours of a maximum of 15 people, so numbers are strictly limited to 45. Wine/soft drinks will be served during the evening and the tours, led by our very own Guides, will leave concurrently so prompt arrival is requested. Unfortunately, the attics have a steep set of narrow stairs, and accessing the first floor may also be difficult if you find stairs challenging.

A reminder that because Christchurch Park will be shutting at 6pm, access for this event is via the Bolton Lane gate only, and the Mansion car park is restricted to those with mobility issues.
